During the last congress of the Croatian Congress of Rheumatology, Paul Studenic, rheumatologist from the Medical University of Vienna and member of STRATA-FIT presented his views and research on new approaches to improve patient care in Rheumatology through patient-centered and collaborative research.

Paul emphasized on involving Patient Research Partners (PRPs), people with lived experience, to make research more effective and inclusive. This is also one of the foundation of our project which involves numerous PRPs in all aspects of our research.

Paul’s talk also highlighted eHealth tools, like passive motion tracking and smart alerts for patients, another key approach to enhance monitoring and catch disease flares early.
