Towards the end of 2025, we look back with joy at another wonderfully busy and inspiring year for the STRATA-FIT Patient Advisory Panel. It has been a privilege to work so closely with all work packages and to help strengthen the project through meaningful patient perspectives.

Throughout the year, we contributed to discussions in WPs 2, 3 and 4 on the non–disease-related variables that matter most to patients when defining D2T-RA. We also worked alongside WP5 on the ACCESS-STRATA clinical trial protocol and informed consent materials, ensuring that patient needs and experiences were reflected from the very beginning. One of our proudest moments was leading the submission of an abstract on patient involvement in the project and being accepted for an oral presentation at the 2025 EULAR Congress in Barcelona! During the Congress, our PRPs also supported the STRATA-FIT booth, connecting with clinicians, healthcare professionals and fellow patients to spread the word about the project and gather diverse input on our Decision Aid Tool via a survey.

Our collaboration with WP8 brought additional highlights, including patient interviews and the creation of content for World Arthritis Day 2025. We wrapped up the year with a rich brainstorming session with WP4 on the Decision Aid Tool and submitted a poster for the EULAR PARE Conference, celebrating our close partnership with the WP5 team.

We feel truly honoured to be part of the STRATA-FIT family. Thank you to every member of the consortium for welcoming us, for valuing our input, and for weaving patient perspectives into the heart of the project. Our heartfelt thanks as well to the EULAR team for their ongoing support and motivation.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue contributing actively and meaningfully to this important work. Wishing you all peaceful holidays and a New Year filled with good health, inspiration, and shared achievements.

Warmest wishes,
The STRATA-FIT Patient Advisory Panel (Bertha, Birgit, Elsa, Irene, Natasha, Sladjana, Sofia)
